A little liquid courage.

So, a man walked into a bar. He tried to appear casual, but he was noticeably huffing and his eyes were quite shifty. He sat down on the bar stool and before he could speak, he bartender looked at him square in the eyes and asked, “Are you underage young man?”. He was sure that he would get the standard denial.

That day was different, Joe was too tired to pretend or argue. He jumped off the bar stool and sauntered out. The bartender just smiled to himself. Some days his stare could work wonders.

Outside, Joe sighed and knelt on the ground with his hands behind his head. The cops had just reached the bar and their guns were ready and cocked to fire. Could you blame a man for wanting a drink before ending up in the slammer?
